Don’t Forget to View Source Your Link Partner’s Links Page!!!

July 4th, 2008

I just post this topic because I have found something misleaded by some bad link partners who want to get only the benefits from link trading for them only, without sharing their link popularity to their link partners in return. This is called the bad SEO myth for me.

When I viewed source any link partner’s webpages which is designed to mislead me and search engine robots, I will REMOVE those “fake” link partners immediately. And never spent time with them again.

I will remove thise link partners after I viewed source and found them use these robots meta tags :-

-1- [meta name=”Robots” content=”index,nofollow”]

Describes: They just allow robots index their webpage only without allowance of their content on the webpage including your link in that links page.

-2- [meta name=”Robots” content=”noindex,nofollow”]

Describes: They don’t allow robots index their webpage nor allow of their content on the webpage including your link in that links page. No use for both but they have got the “real” backlinks from you already. It means they don’t pay attention on their links page.

I will keep link partners with people who use this robots meta tag only :-

[meta name=”Robots” content=”index,follow”]

OR

[meta name=”Robots” content=”index,follow,all”]

Just make sure that you can get the “real link partners” who are glad to grow together with you really.

Overdoing Search Engine Optimization

July 2nd, 2008

Search engine optimization is not a bad thing. In deed, SEO is a good thing because, at least in theory, doing SEO helps the cream rise to the top.

However, if you overdo SEO for your website, your website will be crowded with SEO friendly design only such as webpages are full with text links, text, text, text, text links, alt meta tags, alt meta tags, alt meta tags, alt meta tags, and more.

Your website will get the good results for search engines for sure. But what you need from those search engine search results are “potential visitors and customers” or not?

Yes, visitors will like the easy navigated websites which are friendly to their eyed too. Don’t amaze them and chase them out of your websites with overdoing search engine optimization (Overdo SEO) because you will be the loser instead.

Viral Marketing

May 18th, 2008

Viral marketing or viral advertising refer to marketing techniques that use pre-existing social networks to produce increases in brand awareness or to achieve other marketing objectives such as product sales through self-replicating viral processes.

Viral marketing can be word-of-mouth delivered or enhanced by the network effects of the Internet. It is a marketing phenomenon that facilitates and encourages people to pass along a marketing message voluntarily. Viral marketing is also based on the natural human behavior.

Viral marketing promotions may take the form of video clips, interactive Flash games, advergames, ebooks, brandable software, images, or even text messages.

The basic form of viral marketing is not infinitely sustainable. It is claimed that a satisfied customer tells an average of three people about a product or service they like and 11 people about a product or service which they did not like.

The goal of viral marketers interested in creating successful viral marketing programs is to identify individuals with high social networking potential and create viral messages that appeal to this segment of the population and have a high probability of being passed along.

Keyword Research on Negative Meaning Words

December 25th, 2007

Weeks ago I have been researching on prohibited keywords or negative keywords such as nude keywords, porn keywords, sexual keywords, and more. I have found that there are a lot of the user groups of these keywords who may also help us promote our websites though our websites will not include porn or sexual contents, just say to these keywords technically.

When you search by the keywords “Japanese schoolgirls” or “Japanese school girls”, you will get almost results of Japanese schoolgirl porn images or Japanese school girls nude video clips. In facts, those girls are just the porn stars or AV stars who dress the school uniforms.

Though the words “japanese schoolgirls” or “japanese school girls” mean Japanese girls who are in their school times without nude activities like other countries school girls.

By the way, I just noticed that there are a few web pages without porn photo get included in the 1st page too. That is one of the great ideas to promote their websites by direct hits though there are less possibilities to turn these user groups to become their customers.

If we want the internet contents are family friendly, we should create more child safety contents by insteading of the negative meanings to the positive ones.

Yes, I am talking about how to get direct hits and how to increase your website traffic by negative keywords with the large user groups.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2008 with your search engine optimization success.
