Does Domain Extensiona make the Difference in SEO?
There are many SEOs still discuss about domain extensions are important for search engine optimization or not.
Some SEOs need inbound links from .edu and .gov to credit your websites. There is a belief that major search engines pay attentions on the rare domain names with .edu and .gov or local government domain extensions.
Some people just wonder .com and .net, which is better?. In my personal opinion, I think .com is the best domain extension for commercial websites. If you use Internet Explorer as the browser, you just type only your domain such as seooops in the url address and press Ctrl + Enter. Then it will appear as http://www.seooops.com/ immediately, while .net can’t do so.
Long time ago, .org domain extension has stood for non-profit organizations. But now something has been changed and you will see many companies launched commercial .org websites. Then this extension has been discredited to be no longer for organization websites.
For my experiences, I found .com and .org on search engine results more than .net domain extension.
Bear in mind that the hard domain extension you get, the good ranking for your link will be more trusted by major search engines.
